We’ve grown

Parent and Infant Mental Health Scotland (PIMHS) campaigns for the best mental health care for babies, parents and carers during pregnancy and the first three years of life.

A National Conversation

In 2023-2024 we are holding a national conversation about the work of the Scottish Government’s Perinatal and Infant Mental Health Programme Board. Follow us on Twitter to find out more.

Our work for parents

We work with a range of stakeholders to ensure that parents have access to the best care and support in the perinatal period, and that the voices of those with lived experience of perinatal ill-health are heard loud and clear.

Our work for infants

We advocate for better understanding around infant mental health, for each infant’s unique Voice to be given the Space, Audience and Influence that it deserves, and for infant rights to be taken seriously.

Our Partnerships

We work in partnership with other agencies to campaign for parents and babies across Scotland and the whole of the UK.

Building a network

We are looking for people with lived experience to help shape policy and add to our collective voice.
