Research into the experience of new mums and pregnant women – University of Edinburgh

The University of Edinburgh is starting a new research project investigating the experience of pregnant women’s and postnatal mothers with mental health problems of using perinatal health care (during pregnancy and in the first 12 months after pregnancy).

We want to get in touch with pregnant women and postnatal mothers with experience of this, to hear their views on what support pregnant women and mothers need when using health care services. We would be grateful if you could participate in this survey, forward this call to women who might be interest to join in the survey, and if you could also post a message on social media with the web-link.

Why should I get involved?
You can be involved in a study that will help to obtain a better understanding of the needs of pregnant women and postnatal mothers when dealing with health care services.

What would I have to do?
If you decide to join in, we will ask you to complete a survey. Completing the survey should only take 15-20 minutes. After you have returned each survey you will receive a summary of the responses of everyone who completed it, but all responses will be anonymous to the other participants. This means that it is impossible to tell who participates in the survey.

To participate in the survey, please follow this web-link Research Survey
